Today I had a tutorial with David to discuss how iconic improve what I have come up with so far but also discuss possible ideas I have come up with but not yet have drawn down to showcase this in context. Firstly, I presented David with what I have done currently with the cards, and David suggested that I research into an artist named Anais Prudhomme who created a multiple sclerosis pack, which David said that this will link to my work perfectly and also help me with ideation for the cards. he also said that the black and white imagery works a lot better and is a lot stronger than the coloured designs I created so from this I will take forward into using black and white imagery in all aspects of my work, David also suggested about having one or two colours to highlight the issue of what I am trying to showcase which is the effects of concussion in rugby and how this can lead to motor neuron disease which I think could work perfectly well. Another comment ever had was to experiment more especially with the scrum caps to showcase most safety when getting tackled, so when a player experiences a symptom of concussion some sort of pattern will start to appear on the scrum cap.
All the adviser David has given me I will take forward to develop and improve my work. Having these tutorials with David are helpful and useful for myself and my practice as it gives me another view on my work, so they can spot things or suggest what types of research I can look into to further enhance my work.
